Tracy Kauffman is an author that resides in Decatur, Alabama with her husband and two dogs. Tracy's main genre includes young adult and kids books but she has written in other genres including historical fiction, poetry and Christian works. Her books can be found both in print and E-book format including: Southern Adventures, My Boyfriend the Squire, Richard the Lionheart, Southern Attraction, A Closer Walk and Captain Honey Bear.
Tracy began writing when she was in 2nd grade. She won the title of Editor due to her imagination and love for writing. Then after she graduated high school, she entered a contest so that her poem, titled The Cosmetology Student could be published in a Poetry anthology. She was inspired by her publication that she continued to write and later published her first novella titled: Southern Adventures by Tate Publishing; which was mainly about her life growing up in the south. Tracy has appeared on two local television stations featuring her books.
Tracy's main goal is to help people with their personal development; whether through writing, coaching, or working in healthcare. She continues to gain more life experiences by working part-time as a Registered Nurse. Tracy hopes to encourage and inspire others to live a healthy, happy life and to treat others with love, compassion and kindness, which is often incorporated into her writing and artwork.
